Brexit Statement from AirDropBox Ltd

Brexit Statement from AirDropBox Ltd

As you are aware at this moment in time the UK is set to leave the EU on the 29th March 2019.

As a company we feel we need to address the Brexit situation and how leaving the EU may affect supply to our customers outside of the UK.

AirDropBox believes and hopes that there will be little disruption to our borders and customs as we know it at the moment, but this is now proving to be an uncertain point.

Therefore we urge our customers from outside of the UK to consider placing orders during February so that we have time to process and dispatch your order by the end of February/beginning of March, allowing time for your order to reach you before March 29th.

We would advise our distributors to place at least two months worth of orders, or order enough stock to last you and your customers until May 2019. Again please place your orders during February so we have time to send the orders to you.

We have been preparing for Brexit, therefore we are well stocked across our product range and ready to take your orders.

AirDropBox manufactures all of its range here in the UK, our supply will be constant with high levels of stock available.

If we can help in any way or you have any questions regarding Brexit please do ask and we will do our best to help.

Dying of Thirst – Urgent Appeal

Right now hundreds of thousands of Indonesian people displaced by an earthquake, tsunami and volcanic eruption desperately need clean water to drink.

AirDropBox, a British charity backed organisation, has launched an urgent appeal for funding and is planning a series of airdrops to supply emergency water filtration equipment.

All existing sources of clean water have either been destroyed, or are contaminated by sea water, and what little is left will soon be unfit to drink due to infection and disease. This lifesaving water filtration equipment could be the difference between surviving the disaster, or dying of thirst. You can help make the difference.

You can help the Indonesians’ plight by making a donation:

£10,000 will get some water purification filters to those in need

£50,000 will make a big impact and

£100,000 will be a major provision

Using experience gained from similar airdrop operations in Puerto Rico in 2017 after Hurricanes Irma and Maria, AirDropBox will deliver aid to those in need, in the remote cut off areas of Indonesia.

Introducing the ADB Drone, our new dedicated UAV & Drone air drop system

Launched at Farnborough International Air Show 2018

Due to popular demand we have utilised aspects of our Micro box drop system and developed a small payload low altitude delivery system for use with UAV’s and Drones.

Through careful redesign and testing we now have a fast opening system that is ideally suited to low altitude drops matching the flight profile typical of unmanned & autonomous aircraft whilst also retaining the shock mitigation properties offered by our larger systems.
